Looking for a team event with a twist? Crosby Lodge presents its latest offering in a selection of fun and unique team events – Fizzing it up in February!
“Fizzing it up in February” is an annual event held at the Drawing Room – Crosby Lodge’s boutique restaurant. In summer the tastings are held on the patio, with a gorgeous view of the expertly manicured rose garden. In winter the tastings are of course brought indoors, and it will feature a cosy fire while clients lounge on the lodge’s large, comfortable sofas.
The tasting includes 3 Pippa Sedgewick sparkling wines:
- 2011 Classic Cuvée
- 2011 Blanc de Blancs
- 2013 Pinot Noir Rosé Brut
Each sparkling wine is paired with unique treats such as nougat, meringue, and shortbread – all handmade by Crosby Lodge’s award-winning chef Mila Charleston and her team.
The tasting will be presented by Crosby’s personal sommelier – trained and qualified in France – Jérémie Aveline. Jérémie has been in the wine industry for 10 years, and has been working at Crosby for 3. Jérémie will teach all about the the proper way to appreciate sparkling wine – from the colour and bubbles, through the aromas, the taste, and finally – the finish. Jérémie will also indicate how to select the best desserts to pair with the sparkling wine of choice.
The last tasting will take place one hour before closing

If the interested group is made of 10 or more, it will qualify for a 10% discount. Each tasting can accommodate a maximum of 30 people. Please book well in advance – these events fill up quickly.
